Hey all.
I figured I'd try to do this blogging thing. Well life for me has been a roller coaster ride the past month. My husband's grandmother passed away on June 13th and it was very sudden. So between support and planning the funeral and such that had us really going. Alot of saddness and alot of tears have been shed, but finally the family is starting to heal.
So besides all this my baby James turned 2 on June 23rd. Well so that only made me sadder. My baby is no longer a baby any more. It's hard to watch time just speed by as my boys grow older and older every day. Matthew, my oldest is going to be 5 in September which still baffles my mind. It seems like time just flys past me and I don't even realize how quickly it does.
So this weekend we had a 4th of July BBQ at a family friends house and then Saturday the 5th my son's belated birthday party since we didn't want to try and plan that so close to the sad passing of Grandma Zig. His birthday was full of fun, fireworks and presents and cake, but it was the first gathering without her so it truely was missing a tiny piece.
It's just strange how life never throws you a bone when you are down and out and it never slows for you just to stop for a breath. *sigh* Maybe that is just the fact when you have kids.....lol! Here's hoping that you all get to take a break for yourselves this month. I know I am hoping to do that myself.
